GZ Day 2

Sunday was our second day in GZ, and we went to the safari park. We met our guide and another family at 9:30 to drive over. The other family was a mom and her two sons, and her sister was along to help. That made children number 7 and 8 for her and her husband. The mom is a nurse, and they have an au pair for childcare. We laughed at the similarities, but I can assure you our family is done at 3! We highly recommend the safari park!

The park is a combo of regular zoo exhibits, plus there is a train to ride that takes you on safari. It's about a 40 minute ride, and a lot of fun!
She still makes grumpy camera face every time she sees a camera. It's kinda funny.
But her Christmas dress is adorable that her Grandma made!
But she does love to be flipped upside down!

We've kinda decided to give her free reign with food supply until she realizes she won't run out of food with us. You will always see her with her bowl of cheerios!
A half way smile.

Checking out a white tiger.
This series of pics is hilarious. There were two baby tigers, and one was eating in the back corner. Watch the one in the front.
First he crouches down...
and slowly moves forward...
thinking about it...
Going for it...
Got 'em!
They aren't the best photos b/c they were taken through glass and the lighting was awful, but you get the idea. It was SO cute!
The look she gets when she's trying to get food into her mouth.

Lot's of baby Asian elephants.

This is Tessa's Chinese name! And the name of one of the pandas. Hui is her name, but they called her Hui Hui. Eric and I still call her that sometimes. It means wisdom or knowledge.
Checking out a panda.
The pandas eat half of their body weight a DAY in bamboo. Geez!!!
Sleeping and eating. I wanna be a panda.
Watching a show with Daddy.
Mommy and Tessa fed a baby white tiger. You can see how thrilled she was.
She's looking at me thinking, "Can we please get out of here Mom?". She just wanted her apple back, which I had to take from her so we could go into feed the tiger.

One of her fits. There are many a day, she get SO mad and just rages against us. It's always when she's tired and not getting her way, so pretty much like any other toddler. She's slowly learning these fits are not acceptable.
Red faced little girl. Her cheeks and eyes both get really red when she is tired.
All done and ready to head home. It was almost three by this point, and we were all tired.
